“ギブ＆ゲイン”をモットーとするPhakamaの活動事例紹介とワークショップのデモンストレーション

若者とアート、教育者をつなぐ交流プログラムから始まったイギリスの芸術団体Phakama（パカーマ）の芸術監督を招き、世界の国々の地域コミュニティに入って創作した活動事例の紹介やワークショップのデモンストレーションを行います。（通訳付き）

Introduction to "Phakama" and workshop demonstration

　　Toyohashi Arts Theater will be inviting Corinne Micallef, the artistic directer of Phakama to offer talks on the Phakama methodology of "Give and Gain" and workshop demonstration.

　　Working in a non-hierarchal way, Phakama make daring performances that celebrate who we are and who we can become, individually, collectively and in the world.




What is Phakama?

　　Phakama is a youth arts organisation driven by the desire to make high-quality arts. Phakama believes that individuals’ stories have the power to move, challenge and inform. Phakama creates shared spaces for young artists to express, grow and perform.

　　Project Phakama was set up in 1996 by Lift (London International Festival of Theatre) in partnership with Sibikwa Community Theatre, Johannesburg. It was originally launched as an arts exchange programme involving young people and arts and education practitioners from communities throughout South Africa and the UK, and now has links across the world.
