Regarding our service and performance information

Q: Do you sell tickets on the day of a performance?

A: For programs produced by PLAT, we sell some same-day tickets from 10am at the PLAT Ticket Center. If there are same-day tickets left, we put them on sale at the theatre entrance 1 hour before the performance's starting time.

Ticket prices depend on the performance, so please check the program information. We can't guarantee how many same-day tickets will be put on sale, and for popular programs there may only be a few.

For programs produced by other production companies, please inquire directly to that company. Contact details can be found in our program information.

Q: How can I get an information about the interval(s) and finishing time of each performance?

A: For programs produced by PLAT, please refer to the Performance Information on our website or printed materials. (Estimated times are given when the duration isn't known for sure, but these are updated with precise information as soon as schedules become fixed.)

For programs produced by other production companies, please inquire directly to that company. Contact details can be found in our program information.

Q: I am a wheelchair user. Can I see performances at PLAT?

A: Yes. Please do not hesitate to contact PLAT to make arrangements.

Q: Are there parking spaces at the theatre? Is there any discount system for parking?

A: There are no parking spaces at the theater, so please use public transport if possible. If you do visit PLAT by car, please use the private parking spaces near Toyohashi Station.

Q: Do you have childcare services at PLAT? If so, what is the cost?

A: Childcare services are available for selected programs produced by PLAT, priced at ¥500 per child. Reservations are required. For more details, refer to our website page titled "Guide to visitor support." As there are also programs without childcare services, please contact us for confirmation.

Q: Can I eat inside the theatre?

A: Members of the audience are not allowed to eat during performances. Please eat in the lobby instead.

Q: I have lost my ticket. What should I do?

A: For programs produced by PLAT, please call our Ticket Center on +81-(0)532-39-3090. For programs produced by other companies, please inquire directly to that company.

Q: Urgent business prevents me going to the theatre. Will you refund the cost of my ticket(s)?

A: We do not refund the cost of tickets for any reason other than the performance being cancelled by the organizer.

Q: If I arrive after the starting time, can I still get to my seat?

A: For programs produced by PLAT, it is possible to enter the auditorium during a performance. To minimize the disturbance to other audience members, theatre staff will conduct you to your seat. For a variety of reasons, staff may sometimes ask you to wait for a while before entering, or say you need to take a different seat from the one for which you have a ticket. Please follow their instructions promptly. For programs produced by other companies, please ask that company directly.

Q: Can I give a present to a performer?

A: Regarding programs produced by PLAT, please hand your present to our staff at the lobby desk, who will give it to the performer.

Regarding programs by other production companies, please ask that company directly.

Q: Can I smoke inside the theatre?

A: Smoking is prohibited anywhere in PLAT, including the auditorium, the lobby or elsewhere.

There is a smoking area in the public square at the South exit of Toyohashi Station.
